Tells you something about the changing complexion of bangalore when in the last 2 years of the 69 iggy's spent here, she's had to spell out her name. infact now iggy ONLY spells it out, doesnt bother pronouncing it at all and contend with at least 4 aeh?s. Leaving that, really why bother being given a name, when everyone gives you their own convenient anyway. Many of the following names Iggy accepts because theyre largely anagrammatic or atleast hold significant consonants:
guinea pig, agony, gony, agneepath, path, agnee, eggs, egghead, iguana, igua, ganes, ganesan, ganesh, and this doesnt make any sense at all: hyena. but now i remember why the hyena part. Iggy can also judge a person from the name they give her. The ones who call her ganes/ganesh are usually the creeped sevak kinds with acultural pretensions. But I accept it anyway. And Finny, has really been her official by-name since 3: the only marginally elder sister thought she looked like the sound of finny and said 'finny' in a way that stuck. Accepted it. A year later at 4, was particularly intrigued that hookers on the tv serials seemed to consistently share that by.
